EV Charger Branding and App Design

The client is a new brand entering the American electric vehicle charging market. They first approached us with a simple yet seemingly elusive goal: pull away from the competition and be the charger with a striking name. I and my team worked on defining the brand side-by-side with the client from the messaging, to logo, to the product design, web design and the mobile application with a touch of a more human experience.

The client wants to focus on a stand-alone website, independent from Amazon so we used Shopify as the platform and built the ins and outs to connect the shopping experience from lead generation to customer satisfaction.

Positioning and Branding

I partnered with the research and graphic design team. From the 98 paid questionnaires and interviews, we learnt that the most accepting and invested audience in the market are people that are daring, affluent, and autonomous. The brand design is centered around this concept.
